Jim & Pat Perry
Jim got his first obedience title in 1959. Since then, he has been actively involved in dog training both professionally and as a hobby. He has trained dogs in the areas of obedience, protection, lure coursing, agility, tracking, carting, and therapy work. Jim was an instructor for the Army sentry-dog school in Germany for three years, managed a kennel in Bristol, WI for several years (which included boarding, training and lease guard dogs) and has been teaching all-breed obedience training classes since the beginning of it all.
Due to his experience in the area of training, Jim works with a dog’s temperament rather than it’s conformation. At home, Jim and his wife Pat have shared their time with countless breeds including Belgian Sheepdog, Great Dane, English Cocker Spaniel, Italian Greyhound, Whippet, Greyhound and a gigantic Rhodesian Ridgeback.
