WINTER CAMP DOGWOOD RETURNS,  BUT WITH AN "UN".

It's not quite the same, but it's not exactly different.

January is literally right around the corner and there has been a lot of speculation about whether our Winter Camp was going to reappear on our 2012 schedule. Well it officially has... kinda.  We've decided to host our first ever UN-Camp for those who love Camp Dogwood during the coziest season of the year.

But just what is an UN-Camp?

UN-Camp will bring you some of the best parts of any Camp Dogwood session: Connecting with great people and their dogs, large (hopefully snowy) fields, sipping hot chocolate (or wine) and roasting marshmallows around a roaring fire, time for naps, lingering meals, and a few scheduled activities each day.  We will be serving breakfast on Saturday and Brunch on Sunday, plus Big Camp Dinners (BYOB) on Friday & Saturday. Lunches will be on your own.

Activities that are in the works (still to be confirmed) - hikes, paint your own pottery, dog cookie swap, happy hours, photography portraits, massage (for you and your dog), games, and of course the spontaneous fun created by campers.  One of the things we hear most frequently at Spring and Fall camp is how challenging it is for people to decide which activities to go to during each activity period because there are so many great options.  Well at UN-Camp - the pressure is off.

As directors, Winter Camp is our personal favorite camp of the year - the slower pace and more intimate group really gives us a chance to bond with everyone for good conversation and laughs.  The lack of the typical hustle and bustle is something to be embraced at Winter Camp (or rather UN-Camp).  We look forward to a great relaxing weekend for everyone where we can all get away and Where Your Dog Can Be a Dog.
