DOGWOOD FOUNDERS

Alysa Slay, Psy.D., has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology; is the Director of Psychological Services for a child welfare agency; and is a consultant in the Clinical Division of the IL Dept. of Children & Family Services. With over 10 years experience working in, and consulting to many summer camps for children, Alysa is excited to bring the joy of the 'camp experience' to dogs and their humans. She derives joy and inspiration from her dog, Forrest.

Dave Eisendrath, has been self-employed as a graphic designer for over ten years, working with a variety of clients on a full variety of projects. Finding a way to bridge a gap between work and his love for dogs was a long-time goal for Dave, which he feels has been met with camp. For a decade now he has shared his life, home & office with furry four-legged buddy, Muddy...but as of March 2004, Baby Shazaam has joined their pack. As busy as life may seem to get for him, Dave has always found time to pack up the car, grab the dogs and get away from it all, by heading for the hills and going camping...and loving every minute of it!
