All overnight camp packages include your selected lodging (dogs sleep with you), meals & snacks (dogs bring own), and all standard programming. Rates are listed PER HUMAN CAMPER with up to two dogs (a fee for each dog after the second is an additional $50).

CAMP FEES
Meals, lodging and programming are included in overnight camp fees. Standard rates apply to campers making reservations with a deposit only. Deposits are $200/camper/session, and hold selected available housing. Early-Bird Rates shown already include a $50 discount off of the standard rates, and are available to campers who pay their full camp fee (for Spring or Fall) BEFORE JANUARY 31, 2012. Day Camper fees include meals and programming, and should be paid in full at time of registration.
SINGLE, DOUBLE, & SHARED ROOMING OPTIONS
Our different lodging accommodations are available in different ways, depending on the number of people per room: "Single Occupancy" provides one person a private room or cabin. "Double Occupancy" provides one private room or cabin for two people. "Shared Housing" is intended for three or more people. Double Occupancy and Shared Housing accommodations are designed to house multiple campers.

RUSTIC CABINS
Rustic cabins are set throughout the property and can be reserved as Single and Double occupancy or as Shared Housing. Cabins are unheated with shower houses and bathroom facilities within close proximity. We encourage Cabin campers to bring personal touches to help create their weekend home-away-from-home. ***A number of Rusic Cabins have been winterized and are climate controlled (heat and/or A/C). If you are interested in one of these CabinPlus options, check the box on registration form (+$50).

SEASONAL LODGES
All our Seasonal Lodges provide heated rooms within a building with showers and bathroom facilities on-premises. Most provide a building common area and a kitchen for public use. Seasonal Lodge rooms can be reserved as Single occupancy, Double occupancy or Shared Housing. A variety of buildings are considered Seasonal Lodges...You may make a request for a specific placement in one of the following Seasonal Lodge Buildings: New Lodge, Stein, Pioneer or Desser. Larger groups wanting to stay in Seasonal Lodges will be given priority to our larger rooms.

OTHER OPTIONS
TENT CAMPING (ON-SITE) Camp Dogwood also accommodates those who would like to take advantage of all we offer -including all meals- but would prefer to tent-out under the stars. Our facility has well groomed tent camping areas including your own campfire circle. Tent campers are welcome to use the bathouse facilities for showers, bathrooms and water are a short distance from the tent camping area. Tent Campers must provide all their own camping equipment, and camp in the designated camping village

UPDATED OFF-SITE OPTIONS (Dog-friendly hotels or your own arrangements)
We can recommend any of the 3 pet-friendly hotels we've listed below for those looking to attend a full-camp weekend, but make their own, off-site overnight sleeping arrangements. These 3 are all within short driving distances from our host facility. Each determine their own amenities, comforts and policies (including the potential for a pet fee or weight limit on dog size). Hotels we are suggesting are aware of the Camp Dogwood program, and may waive fees or offer additional considerations for unique situations. Those who decide to stay off-site pay their camp fee to Camp Dogwood and their hotel cost directly to their arranged hotel.
PARADISE COVE HOTEL in Johnsburg, IL **(815) 344-3131 (5.3 miles away)
Paradise Cove Hotel offers the closest, and least expensive, dog-friendly hotel option, with (and I quote from the front desk) the "SWEETEST DELI in McHenry county" right across the street. This hotel is on a river, and only offers rooms with 1 queen bed (roll-aways may be available). Rates for Camp Dogwood are $40 per night, with a $10 pet fee. The pet-fee never exceeds $25, regardless of the length of stay. Campers staying at Paradise Cove for a full session, can anticipate a $145 cost. Mention CAMP DOGWOOD when making your reservation for one of the rooms held for either Spring or Fall Camp. (*Paradise Cove Hotel does NOT have a website) MAP IT
COMFORT SUITES in Grayslake, IL **(847) 223-5050 (7.9 miles away)
This pet-friendly option offers a little more in the way or hotel amenities, but also is a more costly option. For the Spring 2012 session, the hotel was unable to provide any discount or held block of rooms. Calling the hotel directly may result in room availability, or if not, many travel sites on the web seem to have arrangements with Comfort Suites and rooms were available thru Travelocity or Kayak or other travel sites. This hotel DOES have a pet fee, and the room rates vary depending on the type of room requested. MAP IT
SUPER-8 HOTEL in Richmond, IL **(815) 678-4711 (13.4 miles away)
The Super-8 in Richmond is part of the national chain of hotels. Rooms are held for Camp Dogwood for both Spring and Fall sessions. The rates for rooms at Super * start around $69 per night, with a $10, per pet/per night (max. 2 dogs) pet fee. Dogs may not be left unattended in these rooms, must be walked (and cleaned-up after) in the specifically designated areas and be leashed at all times when in/around the hotel property. SUPER-8 will honor AAA, AARP, Senior and Millitay Family discounts of 10% off rates provided for Camp Dogwood. Mention CAMP DOGWOOD when making a reservation for a rooms held for either Spring or Fall Camp. MAP IT

Extended Camp Option
Spring: May 24, 2012
Fall: October 4, 2012
Given the success of extended camps in the past, Camp Dogwood will once again allow full camp campers the option of coming a day early. Campers MUST pre-register for this extended option. Just like regular camp, Extended Camp includes meals and an extra night of lodging. Although there will be no activity schedule on this extra day of camp, it is a great way to become familiar with the camp facility, relax and get settled in before all the camp excitement begins, hike or swim at the beach, play on an open field...or just chill out! Some of our staff experts in agility, training, and behavior may be available for private sessions (extra fee) during the extended camp time. Extended camp is an additional fee of $95 per person added to your camp rate.
DAILY CAMPING:
A limited number of spaces are open for Daily Camping, which is a great way to come and "try" camp. Available only on the Saturday & Sunday of any camp session, Daily Camping includes all meals, access to all camp facilities and a full day of programming.

GROUPS AND CLUBS:
Camp Dogwood encourages Groups and Clubs to join us for any of our camp sessions. We do offer group rate discounts for groups of 5 or more, when registering at the same time.
